The Blessing of the Bishop's Light ... A Trinity legend is that this lamp post came from the home of Bishop Chase, the first Bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire, and the first Rector of Trinity Church.
Lovingly crafted by Russel Gray and restored by Geoff Shepherd in 2012, Bishop Gene Robinson rededicated this light on June 10, 2012.
Let us pray: As darkness falls you renew your promise to reveal among us the light of your presence. As we pass this light on our daily journeys, help us to remember that we are children of your light and give us the strength and courage to be for this community a continuing presence of your light. Bless this light, Lord, given in love and faith and restored in that same love and faith, so that it may shine for us - A grue Beacon of your love. AMEN
