May Peace Prevail, across the Earth and Throughout the year.

In connection with International Peace Day, September 21st, the Claremont Lions Club invited students in the Claremont schools to create a visusal expression of the meaning of peace.


Family School Connections, leaders in the installation of the Peace Pole on Trinity Church grounds, supported and facilitated the contest. Annisa Girard is this year's winner of the Lions Peace Poster Contest.

Annisa's beautiful vision of peace has been entered by Doree Russell, president of the Claremont Club, in the Lions Clubs International regional Peace Poster competition

Annisa says: Peace is getting along with everyone and caring to keep the world calm.
